Two Los Angeles County Firefighters Killed While Fighting Wildfire

Update: Sunday night: Officials say two Los Angels County Firefighters firefighters have been killed when their vehicle rolled off a mountainside while fighting the wildfire in northern Los Angeles County.

County Deputy Fire Chief Mike Bryant said at a news conference that the two men were amid intense fire near Mt. Gleason in the Angeles National Forest on Sunday afternoon when the vehicle crashed.
The massive Station Firefire has burned numerous outbuildings in Altadena, north of Pasadena and at least three homes. The fire has burned 60 year old vegetation and forced hundreds of evacuations
The blaze was only about 5 percent contained Sunday morning and had scorched 55 square miles in the Angeles National Forest. Evacuations were in effect for neighborhoods in Glendale, Pasadena and other cities and towns north of Los Angeles.
