Levitt Pavilion at Memorial Park, Pasadena, continues the most energetic and ambitious summer music concert program of the region. Presenting programs, each a differing style of music, from Wednesdays through Sundays, it is a longer season than most other city presentations for these free community concerts. Concerts at Levitt Pavilion will continue through Sunday, Sept. 14 when it will close with a Mexican Independence Day celebration highlighting Mexico’s vibrant Mariachi sounds and others.
Tonight, Thursday, Aug. 7, Lisa Haley and her fiddle in her inimitable Cajun Zydeco style.
Friday, Aug 8 will bring Smadar Levi, a singer of pan-Mediterranean songs. Saturday, Aug. 9 presents NOCY, a classical guitarist; and Sunday, Aug. 10, Lady Jazz.
Thursday concerts begin at 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 7 p.m. Levitt Pavilion is the bandshell in Memorial Park. The park is at the corner of Walnut St. and Raymond Ave., Pasadena.
